The Chicken Invaders series of games has been one of my favorites for years, and I have been waiting for Chicken Invaders 4 for years now. Well, the wait is over, and you can finally play the game. It's very similar to 3, both in look and in game play. But why mess with a good thing, right? The style works and it's just bigger and badder in CI4. The bosses are cooler, the power-ups are better, and it's a well done game all the way around, definitely worth a download.

Cradle of Rome 2
One of my favorite games of the last 5 years was Cradle of Rome. So, naturally, when a sequel came out, I jumped all over it. It's a little different than the first one, and certainly more involved. But overall, it's a better game, and I have been enjoying it. Sometimes sequels fall into the trap of changing the formula a little too much, and maybe Cradle of Rome 2 does, but it's still very fun.

Zuma's Revenge!
I have been playing quite a bit of Zuma's Revenge! lately. It's extremely well-polished, even if it doesn't deviate too much from the original. It does have some notable differences to talk about, though. First, there are some levels with multiple lily pads that you can hop back and forth between. Second, it has the luxor-style of play where the frog is at the bottom of the screen and slides left and right. And third, there are boss battles- which is the nicest new addition to the game. Overall it's a worthy successor in the series.

Royal Envoy
Okay well this Royal Envoy Game is really tearing up the charts. Basically, you manage an Island full of people, protecting them from the elements and pirates. But wow the graphics- it's just oozing with fantastic pictures....

Virtual Families
Here's a new game that I have been so addicted to, it's called Virtual Families and let me be the first to tell you that it is FUN. You take control of a family, kind of like the Sims, but you see them through many generations and even when you're not at your computer, they're living. So make sure to take care of them nicely and the fun will follow. The visuals are sharp and I have read that it's a tad buggy, but I haven't noticed any. Give it a whirl!

Alice Greenfingers 2
There's a great new game out, and it's a sequel to one of my favorite games of last year: Alice Greenfingers 2. Once again, you're trying to grow crops and raise animals for profit. But this time, it's your lazy uncle's farm, and he sure is creepy. He seems like a character straight out of one of those horror movies where somebody from the hills goes berzerk!
Creepy uncle aside, playing the game is a wonderful experience. You will find that your free hour flies by in a jiffy, leaving you wanting more. So I just had to buy this one, and I am happy I did. So if you haven't played a good game in a while, look no further than Alice Greenfingers 2 :)

Jewel Quest Mysteries
Sorry I have been away for so long, but rest assured, I am back and ready to comment on lots of games. The first of these is Jewel Quest Mysteries. This is a game that you could have predicted would show up. The Jewel Quest series has always been popular, and hidden object games are obviously popular too. So why not make a Jewel Quest hidden object game? The Indiana Jones style of theme is just perfect to find hidden objects, and they did it right too. The scenes look great, and it has the trademark storyline too. All in all, it's a very good game.
